what3words for Cadcorp SIS WebMap
what3words provides a simple way to talk about location. The location technology company has taken the globe, and divided it into a grid of 3m squares, giving each one a unique what3words address, made of three words from the dictionary.
what3words can be integrated with Cadcorp SIS WebMap and accessed via the map’s interface. The integration is supplied as an optional add-in.
In WebMap Manager, what3words can be enabled on a map-by-map basis. After the what3words API key has been entered, you can configure each map, adjust zoom level settings, and select a location pin icon. Once enabled, what3words is displayed as a menu item in the map interface.
Clicking on the map returns the what3words address for that location. The address can be copied as text.
Typing in the what3words address zooms to the location and places a pin on the map.
