A free-to-attend conference for emergency service professionals, Manchester, 25th January 2017

Theme

Collaboration between emergency services has increased substantially over recent years.  Emergency services are sharing buildings, systems and people.  Community stations are being built throughout the UK to provide shared premises for Police, Fire and Ambulance.  Emergency services are increasingly sharing back office systems, including command and control; and Fire and Rescue Services are co-responding to provide emergency medical cover.

This conference will bring together emergency services and show the value that GIS and web mapping can provide in supporting collaboration.  Through analysis, sharing spatial data and implementation of geospatial standards, GIS users are well placed to support this trend.

There will be a number of presentations from emergency services, data providers and technology suppliers.

Who should attend

This free-to-attend workshop is aimed at analysts and managers from emergency services organisations. Attendees will have the opportunity to network over a free lunch with like-minded professionals.
