A free-to-attend conference for GIS and IT professionals working in UK Government

  • London, 12th March 2019
  • Manchester, 19th March 2019

The annual Cadcorp Local Government Conference gives those working with geographic information at local authorities the opportunity to update and expand their knowledge of GIS. This year’s conference will explore the benefits of GIS for delivering enriched intelligence.

Who should attend?

This free-to-attend conference is aimed at those who work in central or local government. It will be of interest to those requiring more information on GIS technology and its aptitude for making sense of place.

It will be relevant to delegates who are looking for new ideas to build upon an existing GIS infrastructure or those who are new to this type of software.

Breaks and a free lunch will provide many opportunities for networking with like-minded professionals.

The aim of the conference is to provide insight into GIS projects happening in UK Local Government. Sessions throughout the day will also look at the latest data that's been made available such as OS Open Zoomstack, OS Open Highways Network, and aerial photography from APGB. We will review user feedback on our recent software release SIS Desktop 9 and SIS WebMap 9 and based on it, demonstrate their top rated features. Cadcorp partner and location data supplier, emapsite will also be sharing their expertise on navigating HM Land Registry data.
