Cadcorp accepted by UK government as supplier of GIS Services under G-Cloud 9
G-Cloud supplier status awarded to Cadcorp once again
The G-Cloud Programme is a cross government initiative with the aim of introducing cloud ICT services into government departments, local authorities and the wider public sector. Acceptance into the G-Cloud Digital Marketplace means that the basic terms of Cadcorp’s cloud-based services have already been agreed following a formal Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) procurement process. The Digital Marketplace enables public sector organisations to buy services more quickly because they don’t have to run a full tender.
The Cadcorp offering is categorised under cloud software. This includes the provision of Web Map Layers as a fully hosted off-the-shelf application for internet and intranet mapping, a hosted Ordnance Survey Open Data and Premium Data map service, Notice Board as a fully hosted service, and the Cadcorp INSPIRE Data Publisher Service.
G-Cloud 9 is available on the Digital Marketplace now. Cadcorp are categorised as cloud hosting, software and support.
