This year’s Local Government Conference focused on the role of GIS in delivering enriched intelligence. Presentations provided insight into GIS projects happening at UK Local Authorities, including a dual language web mapping project from Bridgend County Borough Council.
Sessions throughout the day gave practical use cases for OS Open Zoomstack, OS Open Highways Network data, and aerial photography from APGB. Location intelligence and Cadcorp partner, emapsite, shared their expertise on how Local Authorities can navigate HM Land Registry data to their advantage.
Temporal analysis, creating themes with processes, and artfully producing informative maps in SIS Desktop 9 were demonstrated as well as saving annotations, embedded maps, and FindIT in SIS WebMap 9.
