KOREC partners with Cadcorp to integrate field data capture and GIS
The key to the integration is K-Console, KOREC’s PC-based field data management software that is delivered free of charge with K-Mobile, KOREC’s data capture software. K-Console allows users to define field data capture parameters such as point, line, and area features together with attributes to be collected, and manages the transfer of the data to Cadcorp SIS. K-Console connects to the KOREC server via the cloud, downloads any newly-collected field data and prepares this data for use in Cadcorp. It then pushes the prepared data into Cadcorp SIS, and removes it from the KOREC Server. The seamless and automated integration means the desktop SIS user can be working with new data within minutes of its field capture.
