Cadcorp software deployed as part of a cadastral management system at the Municipality of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo, Mexico
The deployment includes a number of Cadcorp SIS Map Modeller licences and forms part of a wider project to digitise and streamline property taxation. This undertaking will result in increased revenues to the local authority.
During an award ceremony held to celebrate the conclusion of training on the application, the President of the Municipality, Cristina Torres Gómez commented “Digitising procedures such as payment for services will help the municipality develop and plan for the future”.
Cadcorp SIS products are supported by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) as well as by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) in Mexico.
The event was attended by State Director of Cadastre, Ricardo López; Treasurer, Asunción Ramírez Castillo; Director of Cadastre, Elizabeth Ramón; Director of Argeomatica, Jaime Montesinos Fernández; Argeomatica IT Manager, Iván López Bernal; and Argeomatica course instructor, Adriana Haydeé Corona Valle.
