Cadcorp Local Government Conference 2023 – Presentations
Public sector professionals joined us in London and Manchester for the Cadcorp Local Government Conference 2023 to discuss a proactive approach to addressing emergent priorities.
Following a Cadcorp public sector update, we delved into how Local Authorities can support a demonstrable environmental, social, and governance strategy with GIS to support ESG. We then explored next generation web mapping for Driving engagement in Local Authority activities and the versatility of ReportIT for reporting and locating incidents on a map. Additionally, we discussed a Call for Sites application where landowners and developers can propose land sites for future development by drawing a polygon on a map and submitting it electronically.
We then discussed the benefits Spatial insight for emerging operational and strategic objectives brings to local planning, levelling up and regeneration, and strengthening social safety nets for the most vulnerable. We also highlighted the availability of Spatial Data Services for Local Government including the recently released Cadcorp EPC Data Service.
The conference was supported by Ordnance Survey® who delivered an informative presentation on the OS NGD for supporting the public sector with emerging priorities.
Collaboration was paramount throughout the conference, and delegates took the opportunity to network and exchange ideas.
