For 2021, we took the Cadcorp Housing Conference online. Representatives from UK housing associations joined us to discuss the diverse use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for developing opportunities, fulfilling stakeholder requirements and improving access to services for tenants.
Delegates heard from L&Q on how they have developed the use of GIS across the organisation and achieved ‘quick wins’ with GIS. Great Places described their ‘GIS journey’ and how everything can be linked to place. Cadcorp partner, emapsite, lent their location intelligence expertise by explaining the importance of a Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) for linking property intelligence.
Cadcorp gave a housing sector update and a sneak preview of upcoming Cadcorp applications for housing and beyond. We also provided an overview of Cadcorp’s online training experience and announced new courses that are being released for 2021.
The sharing of best practice was paramount throughout the conference and delegates were able to use the opportunity to exchange ideas in an online networking session.
