This year’s Housing Conference looked at the practical application of GIS in helping housing associations reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve services.
GIS professionals from Orbit Group and Places for People shared the work they did with web mapping and the ways in which it aided their organisations. Cadcorp partner emapsite spoke about the positive impact of location data on business intelligence and CA Design Services shared their expertise on accurate data capture methods. The benefits of a managed service for housing associations also came up for discussion.
