The theme for this year’s Cadcorp GIS for Government Conference was ‘Working Together’. This encompassed the interoperability of GIS with back office systems as demonstrated by St Albans City & District Council and the wider role of GIS in supporting shared services as outlined by New Forest District Council. Wirral Council also spoke of the improvements thewere able to make after upgrading their legacy system to Cadcorp corporate GIS.
Cadcorp Technology Partners Aligned Assets and Nautoguide shared their experiences of integrating with Cadcorp spatial technology and the innovations it’s helped bring to development.
The shift by Local Authorities to migrate GIS to the cloud was discussed along with the options Cadcorp customers are working with so far.
