The standards empower technology developers to make complex spatial information and services accessible and useful with all kinds of applications.

Cadcorp is a long-standing member of the OGC, and has a large number of OGC certified-compliant implementations, all of which are built-in as standard across the Cadcorp SIS software range. Cadcorp technical director, Martin Daly, is an OGC Gardels Medal holder for his contribution to the OGC, and was one of the original members of the OGC Architecture Board.

The company specialises in developing and marketing computer hardware systems and enterprise software products – particularly its own brands of database management systems. Cadcorp SIS has had the ability since 2000 to work directly with business and spatial data stored in an Oracle database, without the need for additional proprietary middleware. Cadcorp is an Oracle Developer Partner.
