Map Manager
Managing spatial data and spatial metadata
Map Manager is Cadcorp’s versatile and powerful solution for preparing, configuring and managing both spatial data and metadata for the web, desktop, and spatial database.
It is used for:
- preparing and consolidating spatial data for use in a GIS or spatial database
- managing and configuring spatial data for web deployment
- to manage spatial metadata
In addition Map Manager provides a range of standard geoprocessing capabilities. It offers all the functionality of Map Viewer plus :
- the ability to create and edit data including points, lines and areas. CAD-like tools such as the use of typed coordinates and relative position together with line/vertex 'snapping' ensure data input and edit is accurate and topologically correct
- support for spatial and database queries
- an advanced print template wizard including the facility to print maps to PDF and the ability to export layers and add additional security
- support for GPS devices
