apSIS

Cadcorp apSIS is a suite of programmable Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) objects and controls, which gives the developer the capability to add mapping and GIS capabilities to their bespoke applications. Supported platforms include Microsoft Windows XP on the desktop and Windows CE 4.2 and above on the Pocket PC platform.

At the heart of the Cadcorp apSIS Software Developer Kit (SDK) is the apSIS ActiveX control. The control and apSIS COM objects provide sophisticated 'geo-spatial' functionality in a Windows environment. Because the apSIS SDK has a comprehensive Application Programming Interface (API), developers can get at exactly the functionality they require in order to build bespoke, or embedded, GIS applications.
