Cadcorp works with a number of key associations and societies in the geospatial industry. Some of these are listed below.

Association for Geographic Information (AGI)

The AGI exists to represent the interests of the UK's GI industry; a wide-ranging group of public and private sector organisations, suppliers of GI software, hardware, data and services, consultants, academics and interested individuals. Cadcorp is a corporate member of the AGI (membership no: 20242).

Association of Drainage Authorities (ADA)

The ADA is the association for water level management organisations in the United Kingdom, with over 230 members. It is recognised as the national representative for Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs) in England and Wales. Cadcorp is an associate member.

British Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (British APCO)

British APCO fosters knowledge exchange in communications to support and improve the delivery of public safety. Its members come from every type of public safety and civil contingency organisation in the British Isles.  Cadcorp is a commercial member.

British Cartographic Society (BCS)

The BCS is an association of individuals and organisations dedicated to exploring and developing the world of maps. Its membership includes mapping companies, publishers, designers, academics, researchers, map curators, individual cartographers, GIS specialists and ordinary members of the public with an interest in maps.  Cadcorp is a corporate member of BCS.

IRLOGI

The Irish Organisation for Geographic Information (IRLOGI) is the umbrella organisation for the geographical information industry in Ireland. Cadcorp is a Silver Sponsor member of IRLOGI.

ISO Certification

Cadcorp is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified company.

Land and Property Services, Northern Ireland (LPS)

LPS is responsible for mapping, land registration, valuation and rating in Northern Ireland. Cadcorp is a Licensed Partner

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)

Cadcorp is a member of the LCCI, the capital's largest independent networking and business support organisation. Membership number: C302879.

National Housing Federation

The National Housing Federation (NHF) is the umbrella organisation for social housing providers in England. The Federation's mission is to support and promote the work that housing associations do and campaign for better housing and neighbourhoods. Cadcorp is a Housing Federation subscriber.

Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)

The Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc.®(OGC) is an international industry consortium of companies, government agencies and universities participating in a consensus process to develop publicly available interface standards. OGC standards support interoperable solutions that ‘geo-enable’ the web, wireless and location-based services and mainstream IT. The standards empower technology developers to make complex spatial information and services accessible and useful with all kinds of applications.

Cadcorp is a long-standing member of the Technical Committee of the OGC, and has a large number of OGC certified-compliant implementations, all of which are built-in as standard across the Cadcorp SIS software range. Cadcorp technical director, Martin Daly, is an OGC Gardels Medal holder for his contribution to the OGC, and was one of the original members of the OGC Architecture Board.

Oracle

Oracle is the world’s largest enterprise software company. The company specialises in developing and marketing computer hardware systems and enterprise software products – particularly its own brands of database management systems. Cadcorp SIS has had the ability since 2000 to work directly with business and spatial data stored in an Oracle database, without the need for additional proprietary middleware. Cadcorp is an Oracle Developer Partner.

Ordnance Survey

Ordnance Survey is the national mapping agency of Great Britain. Cadcorp has supported Ordnance Survey data for over 20 years, as part of the Cadcorp SIS product portfolio. Wherever possible this data is read out-of-the-box, without translation or pre-processing. National datasets are displayed instantly. Where vector formats require loading into a spatial database (PostGIS, Microsoft SQL Server ®, Oracle ® or Cadcorp ODB) this is accomplished using management tools, which Cadcorp provides free of charge.
